Diabetes on Stage is a dramatization of various clinical cases in the field of diabetes aimed at addressing therapeutic inertia and treatment adherence with primary care doctors and endocrinologists. Through the staging of these cases, the doctor-patient relationship and communication are explored, while both practical and theoretical concepts essential to medical practice are addressed: non-verbal communication, the importance of verbal language, therapeutic inquiry, the effect of overload and stress during consultations, how to motivate patients to improve treatment adherence, the consequences of therapeutic inertia, and much more.
These are highly interactive and participatory training sessions.
