An important global research project leads scientist Rose Memory and her partner Sináptor to search for children around the world who can help them understand the workings of the brain and find a way to cure Alzheimer’s disease. And that’s why they are here: they are in search of memories.
This is the starting point of this scientific theater show in the format of a theatrical conference, where neuroscience is presented in a playful way, with examples and metaphors that are easy to understand, and using emotional language that helps to comprehend and anchor scientific knowledge in a manner suited to the age of the children who will actively participate at various moments during the activity.
We explore what the brain does. We focus on the mechanisms involved in learning and memory, becoming aware that we are our memory, and understanding the consequences that memory loss has on Alzheimer’s patients.
