LLIGAMS is a scientific theater play about unwanted loneliness in old age. A play in which we discuss the VINCLES-BCN project, which has managed to counteract isolation and unwanted loneliness in older people by creating community support networks, interest and friendship groups in different neighborhoods of Barcelona.
On stage, empty chairs serve as a metaphor for the losses and loneliness we may experience throughout our lives. An image that also invites us to imagine how to fill that void. LLIGAMS is a scientific theater play that invites us to reflect on how we build, care for, and can lose our relationships in family, work, or social environments.
